They copied AU's playbook? Must have been difficult to peel back the depth of that offense. What are we talking....2 or 3 plays?

We will see a lot more of this. Alabama wants everyone to believe they are a smash mouth offense, but really they are a finesse team

Unfortunately true the last two years however I think this OL will allow Alabama to run the offense that we are used to seeing.

He might not fit, and he might not play up to his potential in Bama's O, but all he has to do is perform better than any of Bama's current QBs to improve their team. I think he can do that fairly easily. If Blake Sims beat out Coker last year, I'm certain Braxton Miller can do the same this year.

Grad Student Coker obviously can't learn the O in a whole year, but broke shoulder Miller is gonna come in, in August and save Bama? OKayyyyyy

They copied Auburn's playbook almost exactly.

when you say "almost" did you mean bama got 7 points where auburn usually gets 3

Saban is trying to copy Malzahn's offense because he realizes Malzahn is the GOAT offensive coach. This is obvious by the way Malzahn's offense has rekt Sabah's defense over the last couple of years

I've heard the same from people close to Ole Miss and people close to Ohio State. He's a running back now and hopefully he accepts that sooner rather than later.

Id take him as a RB

)... I think they feared Harris would transfer if they took a high-profile transfer.

In that case you know LSU wants him. The ole win/ win!

if this happens, I'll say they're the favorite in the West. QB is a gaping hole for them, and will probably be a liability overall moreso than a strength. Miller erases that.

I still feel Auburn could beat them since we're playing them at JHS, but this move would be HUGE for Bama.

You assume that bama will stay with a pro-style offense. Everyone loves to make fun of Kiffin(me included) but dude rocked it last year. I am pretty sure he did all that on a pretty tight leash. I would imagine that Saban might let him get a little more colorful with the play calling this year.

To a point. I thought he got away from their strengths a few too many times last year. His gameplan vs OSU was one of the worst I've ever seen with Sims throwing 36 times and Yeldon and Henry combining for 23 carries.

Me too. He's dynamic in open field and maybe run a trick play pass out of it every once in awhile.
