How they determined who the best punter is old and flawed. Bring in how and what Wing does is rewriting the art of punting. They don't have any measuring of all the different punt styles he uses and even his athletic ability to run a fake punt. I've noticed every team plays for him to take off now which is an element that brings better punt coverage on our end. Is there even a category for how many fake punts a punter executes successfully?

I have to agree that he is the best punter I have ever seen. The stats don't show his ability to make a football bounce any where he wants it. And those return yards have just as much, sometimes more, to do with the punter than the coverage team.
The fact that he won't be unanimous AA is pretty much BS. I feel certain he will be on some of the other lists though.

Seriously it's a frickin joke. There have been veteran NFL punters saying he is the best they've ever seen.im not linking the article because I'm on my phone. If he stays healthy he could be the greatest punter of all time. Up here in UTENN country there have been numerous times when I'm out doing things with my LSU gear on and people will stop me and say," yall's punter is a beast". I just laugh and agree. You know he is a badass when other fans call A PUNTER, a beast.

He's the best punter in College FB this year. On the other hand, he's young and he does not seem to have much humility. The people who vote on these types of awards seems to take into account other "intangibles".
