I DISAGREE WITH BOTH PALM AND LUNARDI. THE SEC RANT SAID ONE WEEK AGO THAT TENNESSEE HAD NO SHOT OF MAKING THE NCAA TOURNAMENT.

Palm also has New Mexico and Arizona as 2s which is a fuggin reach and actually pretty damn bad.

Is Marshall going to have to drop 30 on Tennessee again in the SECt to convince the committee? If so, no worries.

Let's be real - the teams have gone in completely opposite directions since they last played. Although, a lot of that has to do with the injuries to Ole Miss.

Tennessee's non-conference schedule is helping them out a ton too.

Do head-to-head results not matter at all?

No it matters how the teams are playing at the present time and Tennessee is playing great. Also RPI and SOS matter.

But engie (Mrs. State fan) says that non-conference schedule doesn't matter.

New Mexico as a #2 isn't really a reach right now. Arizona would probably be lower, though.

Palm is better than Lunardi, but only slightly. They're both mediocre.

Since Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ole Miss don't play each other for the rest of the season, it's possible that all three get in if they all do well and other bubble teams falter. Let's get five bids.

That's what I've been hoping for too Gators. UT's future doesn't really involve any of the other teams. The only 2 that really have an impact are Bama and Ole Miss. MU could ruin UT's hopes but not vica versa if MU holds serve at home. So conceivably, the SEC could get UF, MU, UK, UT and winner of Bama/Ole Miss. Might be a long shot to get 5 but not inconceivable.
