I can not understand how in the world these teams are still on the bubble. They were already on the bubble two weeks ago and they've both lost twice to some really shitty teams since.

The "bubble" this year must be shite.

The bubble is shite.

Arkansas is on the bubble because of the two losses recently. Arkansas was an 8/9 seed prior to those two losses, which really isn't the "bubble" per say.

They've played their way onto the bubble. That could all change this week, as they head to South Carolina for a midweek game. A win there and they're off the so called "bubble"

It pretty much looks like anyone after the top 5 teams are going to have to win the SEC tourney to get in.

Mizzou is playing much better. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat Bama on Wed.

Me neither, especially if we play one of our sloppy games.

Yea. I thought Tennessee would put us at 5 teams, but not sure about that now.

The teams on the bubble with Arkansas all have worse resumes IMO. Arkansas is squarely on the bubble because of the reputation of the SEC. Again, IMO.

Bubble Teams currently...

Arkansas: 18-7, 43 RPI, 7-5 vs. Top 100
Rhode Island: 16-8, 39 RPI, 3-8 vs. Top 100
Seton Hall: 15-9, 47 RPI, 5-8 vs. Top 100
Syracuse: 16-10, 71 RPI, 8-7 vs. Top 100
Marquette: 15-10, 84 RPI, 6-9 vs. Top 100
Clemson: 13-11, 55 RPI, 8-10 vs. Top 100

The fact Arkansas is even in a group with those teams is simply because of the national perception of the league.

Vols lose somewhere in the 12-15 point range in Lexington. Too young and the loss Saturday likely drained whatever confidence they had left.

Probably, but maybe not. So you will be watching just in case. There are 9 teams in the SEC who would love to be on the bubble.

This is what has probably drove me nuts over the last week and a half in regards to the Arkansas team. It doesn't seem like they have much urgency. At some points you would think they weren't playing for anything. Hopefully we see a lot of fire out of them on Wednesday.

Luckily, SC hasn't been playing great either.
