LSU has never played in Rose Bowl. It didn't become a Big 10- Pac 10 party until 1946
Most SEC schools haven't played in a Rose Bowl.
Who has?
Alabama (6 + BCS game)
Georgia (1)
Georgia Tech (1) (while SEC)
Tennessee (2)
Tulane (1) (while SEC)
Auburn (1) (BCS game)

The best answer for any SEC school to claim a bowl that they have never been to is the one in Shreveport.
Hogs are just hoping to get there again!

We played there for the 1911 season, but the NCAA doesn't count it as a bowl game.

They should allow alcohol sponsored bowls. The Shiner Bock Alamo Bowl and Jack Daniels Music City Bowl are a lot cooler than whatever they are now

That is actually pretty surprising.

I don't know about bowls they haven't played in, but Ole Miss owns the Independence Bowl. Vaught-Hemingway west they call it. They've played there like 987 times. Very prestigious bowl it is.

State has played in:
Peach Bowl
Independence Bowl
Hall of Fame/Outback Bowl
Sun Bowl (bring it back as a P12-SEC tie-in)
Orange Bowl
Gator Bowl
Music City Bowl
Liberty Bowl
Never a Sugar. The one SEC title - Missouri got our bid because our team went to fight Japs.

BCS national title game.
As good as we played and as many games as we won under Orgeron I thought we'd be a lock.

I don't think UT has ever played in the Citrus Bowl...

"Remember, you can't spell Citrus without UT.", the Ol Ball Coach, circa 1996.

Y'all would've in 08 with a better coach.

And lucky for them, they brought the Citrus back.
