Sucks if true, but he’s been a joy to watch. One of the best players in school history.

We won't know til later in the week. Anyone that says that know for certain right now is wrong/lying.

He MIGHT get surgery which could put him out ~6 weeks but the family is getting a second opinion.

He'll definitely miss missouri though if that's on your mind

Don't think him being out will save us. Hope he has a strong recovery

Would hate for that dude's college career to end that way. Such a great player.

Technically he could come back, but he's way too good for that.

How much does losing Bowers hurt UGA?
Does that mail it in for the offense?

he's already a 2-time national champion. he should probably sit out the rest of the way while he's still a first round draft pick.

A. You have no idea if he’s healthy enough or not to come back. All of this is speculation.

B. He’s not a pussy like Chase or Stingley. If he’s healthy enough, he’ll suit up.

Per a UGA release, Bowers sustained a high ankle sprain against Vanderbilt and will undergo surgery on Monday. A full recovery is expected.

Surgery for a "sprain?"

Edit: Just read about tight rope surgery. Had never heard of it.

Tua had it pretty much the day after the SEC championship game and was good to go a month later vs Oklahoma. That being said he didn't have to run routes.
