LSU may be the 6th best job in the country. It may be 5th. Who knows or cares?

Texas may not be hiring at all they're showing signs of life for the first time in what seems like forever.

Longhorns (in my opinion) lose to Oklahoma St. and then to Oklahoma in Dallas.

That's the next two games, then they return home to a terrible crowd against Iowa St., then finish 6-6 or worse.

The win over Notre Dame was merely an illusion.

(Did you aggies like that?)

LSU fans will if a better job opens which looks likely.

Michigan, no
Notre Dame, hell no.

We have better facilities and talent than both of those and it isn't close.

Jesus effing christ...some of you people are idiots. You do realize that Michigan paid Harbaugh $9M, right? Better talent than ND? Oh sure, your roster may be better right now, but your on drugs if you think LSU has an advantage recruiting nationally over ND. If you seriously don't think Herman at ND could kick LSU's arse recruiting, there's just no helping you.

Next thing you're probably going to tell us that he would have an easier path to the CFP at LSU.

We have more players on NFL rosters than any other team in the country, our recruiting isn't the problem!

We have excellent facilities, excellent fan base and excellent talent.

Our problem has been sub par coaching and that will change with this hire.

The ONLY thing LSU may have going for it right now over ND is the fact that, by taking steps today that Miles wouldn't take, Kelly may have saved his job, so ND may not be open. That's it.

Notre Dame struggled to find a coach last go around and so did Texas

No one is denying this. You still have to be a moron to think it's a better job than Notre Dame.

As will LSU. These days it's hard times for blue blood programs hiring head coaches.

Texas thought the same thing, and they have all these rankings saying they have the best job that LSU doesn't have.

With the trouble they have been having over the years, LSU has certainly surpassed ND as a coaching destination

No one touches Louisiana's talent besides Louisiana. We have now expanded our recruiting grounds all over the South.

To think Notre Dame can pull guys away from the South, let alone, our territory is utter stupidity. Oh... Forgot I was talking to a melting Gump

You just listed recruiting as a major reason why ND was a better job than LSU.

We recruit better than they do, as evidenced by NFL rosters so that point is not valid.

I'm responding specifically to any idiot that says it's better than ND. You disagree? Make your case. I've already laid out mine. Money, administration, national fan base, nationwide recruiting, easier path to the CFP.

Make your case.

One dumbass LSU fan earlier today tried to say ND wasn't as good a job because it's in a state with little football talent.

Take off your purple glasses and make a coherent argument. Don't be a moronic homer.

LSU can offer ~4.5M a year
Top notch facilities
Talent rich state with no in-state recruiting rival
Fanbase that is comfortable with 2 losses per year
Decent talent on roster
2017-2018 upcoming recruiting classes look fantastic
Administration that stood by their coach despite his terrible 21-13 SEC record over the last ~4 seasons.. and all indications point towards LSU going, at best, 4-4 in the SEC this season.. aka 24-16 overall in 5 seasons.. or .600 win percentage in SEC play

I'd ask you where Golden Tate is from...but you've probably never heard of him.

You mean a NCG appearance more recently than LSU's?

See Golden Tate. Herman at ND could give you Louisiana and still kick your arse recruiting.

And Michigan paid Harbaugh double that. Hell, Notre Dame paid Lardass more than that...FOR TEN YEARS...in 2005.
