They love UGA ties. The last one worked out well.

that is about the level hire they will make...though if they have brains they should be working the back channels hard with frost or brohm.

Not saying he won't, but I'll be stunned if Brohm leaves Purdue for UTK. Admittedly, UTK is a much better job, but he's home in Kentuckiana, and he's in an easy division.

Brohm won't stay forever, but I don't think he leaves after one year.

Per sauces, we're talking to Frost already.

Would be the third Ray Goff player to coach at an SEC East program.

Are you referring to Derrick Dooley, the guy that played at UVA and was a GA at UGA for 1 whole year? I guess that qualifies as "tie".

I think he's referring to Mr Dooley's father, who spent a little time at UGA himself

Wonder if he holds a grudge against UT for breaking his leg in '91.

Heard of him. So???

If true about Bobo, you are talking about a guy who played at UGA and held credible coaching positions at UGA. Those are what I consider "ties".

Now this is a Tennessee hire. I'd say there's a reasonable chance we hire him or someone like him (ex: unqualified, almost certainly will fail).

They have to make a better hire then that .

I'd actually rather they not hire Bobo. He can coach and is a serious recruiter with deep ties throughout the south but particularly in GA.

lol Bobo would be a dogshit hire and would signal the end of VOLS as a football program.

He'd be a better hire than any of your previous 3 by far, imo.

I think he would be a strong hire. I'm just afraid Nebraska would get him. If we do land him, there HAS to be something in his contract that keeps him from bailing on us and heading to Nebraska. At least for a few years.
