Sure, that worked out well for Jerry Stovall at LSU too. Though, his hire was an emergency when Bo Rein died before he was able to coach a game.

Louisville isn't even good. Why would Tennessee want Petrino? His last championship of any kind was 11 years ago in Conference USA.

Not according to my sources. Chip Kelly is already in talks and will take over Sunday after the press conference firing Butch. Terms have been reached between TN and his agent and buyout approved for Butch by the AD.

If that's your measuring stick for success, then 95% of the coaches aren't worth a shite. It's rare that anyone beats Saban. You mouth breather.
