I don't know how Tennessee fans will feel about it, but I see Petrino bolting from Louisville now that his friend has been fired.

I just think he's the best Tennessee can get, to be realistic and he would be licking his chops to come back to the SEC.

That's what we're hearing in Northwest Arkansas as well

Petrino to Tennessee

Why can't they just keep Butch?

Man I hope they hire Manning. They would suck for the next 30 years if it happened. No coaching experience and it's not like they would ever fire their best player ever.

It would be a great hire for them . It’s risky but worth the risk for them .

While I don't doubt Petrino would make a run for it now that Lamar is eligible for the NFL draft I have a hard time seeing him in orange.

They’re kind of like Arkansas. No matter who they hire, they will constantly be irrelevant.

I feel like Petrino, given the talent Tennessee has, would get at least 10 wins in his first season there. Whether or not he could sustain it is the question.

I asked you Hog fans about the possibility of Petrino going back and was basically told it wouldn't happen unless you guys canned your AD.

He is a tier 1 candidate. Might be the only one.
