Huge hire for two reasons: 1. Shoop is a top DC right now but probably more importantly is that 2. Dave Hart finally agreed to stop penny pinching and invest in football salaries which is a big statement about where we're going in terms of hiring top coordinators and coaches.

Nah. They have good hires too but KMAC, Tuttle, Kirkland Jr., JRM (who said he'd return if Shoop was hired), and Barnett et al are going to be absolutely filthy under Shoop's system and they were going to be pretty damn nasty under Jancek's. Now feeling sorry for some of the QBs, maybe, those guys are going to have it tough against our D, especially some of the new ones.

TBH, I don't understand the length or depth of the melt. Yeah, it was a beatdown but they should be over it by now or at least more contained.

It's like all their hate and anger came out in our direction, and it hasn't cooled much in the week since then. And on top of that many of them have the nerve to blame their melt on us.
