Man, I hope we can play well. I want to win, but if we lose by less than seven points and play well, whaatevery. I just hope we don't shite the bed on national television.

Bama: 27-14
I have seen Alabama win more National Championships than lose to Ole Miss in my lifetime.

And I've seen Bama lose to Oklahoma more times than Ole Miss has in my lifetime....

irrelevant things are irrelevant......kinda like your down-field passing game.

Gump On [Off]

I think this game will be pretty good and it will come down to Blake vs. Bo. Alabama doesn't need Blake to play perfect in order to win. Ole Miss has to have a near-perfect game from Bo. If Bo has his usual kind of game, then turn out the lights. The Bo Wallace I saw Saturday vs. Memphis doesn't stand a chance. That said, I've seen Stephen Garcia turn into Joe Montana against Alabama...so I won't put it past Wallace to show up. Like against Boise and Memphis, you won't be able to just out talent us and pull away in the second half.

IMO, Ole Miss is going to come out with their heads on fire. If they don't capitalize on that momentum early, then it will be another W for UA.

Actually they've won more nattys than games that they've lost to Ole Miss.

what, exactly, does the 1973 Tuscaloosa Times National Championship banner have to do with this year?

REBBEAR ON [OFF]

Agreed. Bo must play a perfect or near-perfect game. I think it should be a good game, especially if our defense is as good as advertised.

I plan on doing some research on the seven games Alabama has lost since 2009 and then finding the common factors in the victorious opponents' production so watch for a thread sometime tonight or tomorrow.

REBBEAR [ON] OFF

Y'ALL CAN'T HANDLE THE LANDSHARK DEFENSE.

I CAN THROW FARTHER THAN BLAKE SIMS.

I'M GONNA HAVE SEX WITH LAYLA KIFFIN.

OJ HOWARD IS GONNA GET DECAPITATED BY CODY PREWITT.

I was just stating an unusual fact, so you can run along back to your chest bumping, Junior. After all you only have a few days left to trash talk with the "big dogs" then it'll be back up on the porch for you....but don't fret, in 5 or 6 years y'all will be back and you can do it all again.

I never said he did throw a TD pass last year....

Well, you did say:
quote:

Bo wallace is about to treat Bama defense like LSU's last season...

And then you said:
quote:

350 and 3TD's.

Problem is that Wallace didn't throw 3 TDs vs LSU, so if he's to "treat Bama defense like LSU's last season", then he can't throw for "350 and 3TD's"

The common factor is lights out play by the opposing QB. Outside of LSU 2010 & 2011, that's usually the common denominator. 2013 Auburn is a completely different animal IMO. The others would be getting up on us early and never allowing us to seize momentum. This game feels very similar to the 2010 Arkansas game. Arkansas built that game up and circled as their chance to prove they were for real. It was a really tough atmosphere and we easily could've lost that game but Arkansas just crumbled at the end after getting up on us early.

Unlike that 2010 Arkansas game, I've seen y'all go into road games against highly ranked opponents and then it seems y'all are up 21-0 already immediately after kickoff. See: Georgia 2008 (31-0 at the half), 2011 Penn State (17-3 at the half, 2011 Florida (24-10 at the half), 2012 LSU (14-3 at the half), 2013 Texas A&M (28-14 at the half)

Yeah, its not uncommon for us to get on some scoring blitz and the other team just doesn't respond.

If that happens and Ole Miss survives that, like AU did last year, Ole Miss has a chance.

In some of our losses, it seems like the key to beating UA is to put pressure on our offense to either keep up or play a different gameplan. If I'm Freeze, I take advantage of the crowd and energy & try to score early...putting pressure on Sims to do more than game manage in his first road start.
