Honestly, this seems ridiculous. All that in-state talent, passionate fan base, I think they easily stay in the top 10 of programs.
Agreed. LSU should never fall out of the Top 15. The in state talent is just stupid.

When will people stop linking BR? It's a glorified sports blog.

I thought David Shaw would be Bama's next head coach. Dabo's syle doesn't seem like a fit for Bama.

So the team that leads all SEC schools in wins this century(160) is only going to be the 7th best team in the SEC over the next 10 years. Considering the fact that LSU is a virtual lock to win 10 or more games for the first of those 10 seasons, this all makes perfect sense, right?

The Michigan love is just baffling to me. To be the 2nd best program in the next decade a team likely needs to win what, 2 titles?
Michigan is at a high level, and Harbaugh is damn good. However, their biggest rival has been 50-4 with a title over the last 4 years, and won their first game against each other by 4 TDs. If I asked you, between Harbaugh and Meyer, who you expected to be at their school longer, it would prob be a 50/50 split on who lasts, with neither lasting more than 5 or so years. OSU has more staying power with talent in Ohio

Dumb concept since there is no way to know who will be coaching where in 10 years.

Honestly... all things are cyclical.
My guess is Bama will drop off at some point in the next decade. It's unreasonable to think they'll stay the #1 program in the sport for 20 years. That just doesn't happen for any program.
Just as it wasn't typical for Bama to be as down as they were from about 1997-2007, things have evened themselves out a bit since 2008. My guess is the Saban train will keep rolling for a few more years, and then we'll see Bama settle back down to a Top 10 or Top 15 team, but they'll go awhile without any championships.
LSU is probably due a cooling off period as well. Playing for 3 National Tiles in just 13 seasons... and fielding solid teams mostly every year in between... is a bit stronger than the average LSU 13-year period. My guess is they'll taper off a bit. Still be good, but maybe struggle a bit more often. Again, after their miserable period from 1989 through 1999, they were due for a massive comeback to even things out. They've about done that now.
Tennessee is the opposite. They were a bit stronger than their norm from 1995-2001, and what went up, had to come back down. They've been down pretty much since 2006. They are due for some very strong years to even this all back out.
Florida is probably due for a turnaround at some point, but they were so good during the Spurrier/Meyer years, they may struggle a little more before it all evens out.
Auburn seems to experience their "ups" and "downs" at a much more rapid pace. They are never down long, just as they are rarely up long. I imagine this same pattern will in all likelihood continue.
Georgia just seems to maintain at a "good, but not great" level every single year. We haven't been a National Title contender enough to expect for us to struggle as a way to even things out.

Of course that's your guess. You hate Alabama. We all know that.
