College football is outstanding entertainment for myriad reasons, one of which is the sport's unpredictability. Rosters are completely overhauled every five years, so we can only reasonably predict a few seasons in advance.

Still, much can change over a short amount of time. Sustaining excellence is tremendously difficult. But that's what makes decade-long predictions fun.

Projecting anything more than five years away is a complete, unashamed guess. Unless your favorite team has already filled its 2022 recruiting class, we have no idea what the rosters will look like.

However, certain head coaches might be around. Thanks to recruiting success, a new hire or recent consistency, the following teams appear best suited to regularly chase conference titles and national championships for the next 10 years.

SEC Teams:

1. Alabama
8. Georgia
9. Auburn
11. Florida
16. Ole Miss
17. Texas A&M
19. L5U
22. Tennessee

Thoughts?

I dont' see ND or oregon having a better next 10 years than us. Honestly clemson either for that matter but I can see the reasoning.

The fawning over Kirby is hilarious. He is going to be a bigger failure than Muschamp

Oregon has been pretty damn solid for a while. Notre Dame? No way.

So LSU has been a top 5 overall program under miles, their 25th ranked head coach. He won't make it 5 much less 10 more years, and we will get worse after him?

Alabama has been the top program under Saban, their top ranked head coach. Saban won't make it 5 much less 10 more years, and they will stay #1?

Seems like their logic is LSU carries miles not the other way around. Yet we are going to dip almost into the 20s without him?

Sure why not

I see where the Georgia hype is coming from, I don't necessarily believe in it. But where is this auburn optimism coming from?

And LOL at a program about to recieve sanctions that has never won the west in 25 years of division play being ahead of LSU

It appears they have declared the death of the Nebraska and Penn State programs. If neither come back to being Top 25 programs during the next decade, they won't ever get back to where they used to be.

This year will be very telling for the future of UTe. If they can win the East then I think they should be higher. LSU is far too low too. If Miles doesnt get it done this year then they will get Jimbo. If he does get it done then that means they are a top 10 program. OM being higher than them is just stupid. LSU and UGA should swap.

Thoughts are that Bleacher Report is still miserable.

I mean look at his summaries of the teams. Literally every one seems positive so how did he rank them? Terrible

Honestly, this seems ridiculous. All that in-state talent, passionate fan base, I think they easily stay in the top 10 of programs.

Dumbest comment I have seen on here in a long time.
