It really is not that mind-boggling. Quite a few Ags supported Jackie Sherrill after he was caught cheating (though nothing was ever pinned on him) Why? Because he was winning and, more importantly at that time, he was beating Texas.

If Bama didn't get the death penalty last decade, nobody will. They had offense after offense, basically thumbing their noses at the NCAA.

Naaah. Never happen IMO. What SMU did was much worse.
