LSU. For me it's not even close.

Would be nice to beat JFF though.

As far as Alabama is concerned I've just about given up on them being a team we'll ever beat again.

This is a pervasive attitude that overcomes teams when the momentum starts to swing against them im the midst of the unprecedented upset. I hope Freeze doesn't let his team's heads start to hang if they find themselves in that situation.

I know, they are being too sensitive. This thread is enlightening until the swamp kittens get their bayou in a bunch.

I could give two shites which one it is. Give me a win against Auburn and one of the big 3 which puts us at 5-2 with 5 games remaining we'd be favored in and I'm extremely happy.

This. The game @ Auburn after Bama is becoming really important for us to have a great year.

We ain't beaten Bama. But I think if we beat Auburn we come home and pull out one of two from LSU/A&M. That leaves us with Troy, Idaho, Missouri, Arkansas, and State and a shot at 10-2. Big 'if' though.

Wow. That sounded a little excessive to me, so I checked. Yep. 9-49-2. Ouch.

I know ... right!

Yes because a fan's attitude really swings a game.

Auburn is going to struggle to stop us at all.

It isn't the fans attitude I was referring to. Ole Miss knows what kind of program it is and the kinds it is facing. How many players on that team are all too familiar with their inadequacies against Alabama, and suffered through y'alls 0-16(or whatever it was) conference stretch? I watched an Aggie football team get double digit leads in 2011 and lose 5 games. The momentum swing and attitude is no joke. I'll never discount that effect on a game.

Most of our players haven't seen as many OM-Bama games as I have. I don't think it will become as pervasive in the locker room as it is in my head.

So y'all view Auburn as y'alls make or break, huh?

I don't think our players have this attitude. Freeze has done a great job of changing the mindset.

We need the Rebbears and Aggies to start hanging out together. Rebbears need some swag, and Aggies need some reality.

I'm afraid when Ole Miss beats A&M, neither side will know how to handle it.

I mean... homerism aside, everyone is susceptible to it. Especially given the amount of players on that team that went through y'alls 0-16(or whatever it was) stretch, don't act like one coach can erase the "monkey on the back" feeling from everyone. He might have for some, but eliminated? I watched the Aggies face it in 2011 in Norman the year AFTER we beat them by two touchdowns.

Auburn is a team we should beat, but we don't have the best track record at JH.

Many of the best players in their last recruiting class are from out-of-state. These are not all kids who grew up watching Ole Miss football religiously. They're not going to be suffering from the same preconceptions/

In all honesty we just have a very bad record beating Alabama teams in Alabama ... so a win against Auburn in Jordan-Hare to set us up as 4-1 going into the aTm game would be huge.

We've got a few seniors who were here through the bullshite which is why I'm not worried about them losing the edge. They understand how quickly shite goes. We can score on Bama however I'm not sure our defense can stop Mccarron

I do. I would hate to go home after losing @ Bama, @ Auburn with Texas A&M and LSU on the way.

I think if we split the Alabama schools, we split LSU/A&M at home somehow. Which gives us a shot at a nice season.

We never play good at Jordan Hare.

Not really make or break but another good measuring stick. We haven't beaten Auburn back to back in about a hundred years and we haven't won in JHS in 10 years.

That's easy. If we beat a&m then it's :rivalry: week so you might want to avoid the rant if that happens
