They clearly overestimate my rival teams talents, and fail to take into account my team's grit and determination for the upcoming season

Against South AL, UT Martin, and Cal? If you aren't 3-0 may as well go ahead and hang the season up. More so than having 4 yr bowl ban and 10-15 schollies per year.

Projected Wins
Auburn : 8.3

Ole Miss : 6.9
Arkansas : 6.3
Missouri : 6.3

This guy knows his shite.

Seeing him and Steele like us to win the East makes me feel positive about the upcoming season for sure. Unlike Athlon, they actually know what they are talking about.

LSU and Bama aren't there yet. So is Florida finishing third or fourth really that outlandish? You know. The team that beat you last year, has better QB's on the roster, and a far better head coach?

Yea...I'd stop.

Lsu with the 14th best offense is laughable.

So he actually has y'all finishing 15? But the poster you were replying to was posting about him having y'all ranked as the #2 defense in the country. Reading is helpful.

They finished 13th nationally in yards per play and 22nd in S&P+ offense in 2016.

They had 370+ yards in 9 of their 13 games, 420+ yards in 6 of their 13 games and 525+ yards in 3 games (all vs SEC teams).

Once O and Etling took over they averaged 465 yards per game. The only game of those 8 that they did not reach 375 yards was against Alabama (125). Outside of Alabama they averaged 513 yards per game over their last 8.

So, they still need to show they can light up good defenses, but they didn't have much issue with average to below average defenses last year.

They had 423 yards against Florida last year. Sure they goofed up repeatedly inside the red zone, and Florida deserved to win, but they looked like a Top 15 offense for the 2nd half of the season outside of 1 game against a great defense that is wired to destroy them.

I don't see why them being 14th is such a shock to people.

Ok. They also played a top ten schedule and lost an NFL level quarterback during the season. You know as well as anyone that they weren't 'bad'. That would be an absolutely humiliating loss. Even in Berkeley.

I don't think they were bad, especially early. But middle/late in the season they were pretty bad.

17 pt loss to LSU
11 pt loss to Auburn
21 pt loss to Vanderbilt
35 pt loss to Mississippi State

That team was pretty bad.

Those last two were bad, post Kelly and Engram. LSU mashed us. Engram dropped a tad pass against Auburn that would have given us the lead with four minutes to play. The team really just got beaten down by a difficult schedule and a lot of close losses. But we are much better than Cal.
