as bare as he possibly could

Huh?He had recruiting classes ranked #3,#4 and #8 before he was canned,

McElwain stepped into some prime talent especially in defense. Not another job opening other than USC that could match it.

We are talking about the offense here. The offense was a close to bare as one could get.

I can't believe that Tennessee underachieved, bama is the best team in the SEC, A&M went to shite by October, LSU fell apart by November, Richt lost his 3 biggest games, and Ole Miss choked after one big win. Really, I'm shocked

Florida winning the East & Auburn finishing last in the West.

It's the team I follow but I'm absolutely shocked that Vandy actually looks like a competent/prepared football team most weeks this season. My expectation for this year was 1-11 or 2-10 & a coaching change coming but I greatly underestimated how good Mason's D would be. The fact that VU is going to finish at least 4th in the East in mind blowing to me & I"m actually excited for '16 with 19 of the top 22 back on D that's top 5 in the nation in efficiency, a true Fr QB who actually looks like he could be legit & a more manageable schedule.

exceptional might be a a bit much

Check out the 14 class yourself it's not very good Especially considering Gerald Willis and jc Jackson are gone and Thomas Holley may never be healthy enough to contribute

2012 class was ok a lot of transfers tho this uf team is pretty damn depleted tho

O-line he did but not QB,TE,WR and even RB.

P.enty of talent for McElwain to work with.

There is literally not a single player on Florida's offense or in their offensive depth chart that scares me. Nobody on that side of the ball would be a starter on any of Florida's SEC East championship teams of the past. None.
