By the second quarter, Dak will be in ICU and LSU will be putting in walk-ons so MSU won't be embarrassed too bad. 56-0 LSU first quarter 77-10 LSU final score

We should have a pretty good idea of how our QB situation is by the time we play MSU. Good or bad, that game will likely confirm what we already know.

OM @ Bama is a much bigger game than LSU/MSU

Ole Miss has beaten Alabama 3 times since 1990.

MSU has beaten LSU 4 times since 1990.

Stop fricking babbling.

If LSU, fresh off a disappointing season, goes into Starkville and struggles on offense while letting Dak go wild again..........will people start to grumble?

If Harris isn't starting at the beginning of the season I won't be around to grumble about the MSU game because I won't be watching.

folks - game is 7 months away, but what is your nervousness level about this one?

None. Last season was an anomaly. Great QB with a host of veterans backing him up gave MSU their best season in many moons while the Tigers struggled mightily at QB and breaking in 17 TF. Order will be restored in 2015. Auburn will probably be the tougher game but the BR Tigers will prevail IMO. The SEC needs another November battle of top 5 Tide and Tigers. The winner of that game will win the SEC West and stands a better than even chance to reach the playoffs.

not a september game. but Oct. 24 @ Arkansas & Oct. 31 vs Ole Miss are two games im looking at we haven't really had smooth sailing in fayetville I think our record in their stadium is something like 6-5? and if not for the fumble last year the rebs would've likely beaten us.

You have to think State will basically be playing with house money. They had a great year last year, lost all their veterans and probably won't even be ranked. But they are at home and bring back Dak.

Does State get a home field bump?

I like the Tigers' chances in Starkville.

One early game that could be an issue is @ SYR. It's just deep enough into the season for opponents to start getting LSU's tendencies, and it's a long way to travel coming off of a tough conference game against AU.

UF is a complete mystery. I can only hope that they need a season to consolidate their feces, and getting them at home gives the slight edge to LSU. I like the even numbered years getting AU, UF, A&M and AR at home and Bama on the road.

Our season completely hangs on this game. The team knows they will have to take care of business. Our offense will be better this year, but may not be in week two. Still, LSU won't contain Dak at home, and I fully expect to win.

LSU was down, State was the best they've been in ages, and they just about choked. As long as Mullen is on the sidelines, I don't think any LSU fans worry about that game.
