I think evey team in the SEC has something to be embarassed about. It was a down year. Our best team lost their only game because they couldn't kick a freakin extra point. In hindsight it wasn't that big of a deal, but seriously, if LSU had that happen, I'd still shake my head about it after the season was over.

UT vs. Wyoming, and Auburn's complete season.

Darkhorse? We were favorites for the West

Miss. State against Ole Miss.
45-0
37 yards of offense for State
Auburn and Tennessee
Oh and LSU!
It's weird not having to put Ole Miss in there, but we actually did something right.

I would have to say in conference AU and UT are pretty close to the biggest embarrassment. Out of conference UT wins due to Wyoming. Bama takes 2nd against the Utes.

Did you really say "paper-view"?

Nice catch. I didn't even notice that.

I was pretty embarrassed we let LSU score 13 on us. Our defense was like a sieve. We corrected this, though, the next week against Moo State
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: Its simply amazing what one good season does to a fanbase.
I would have the first 3 quarters of the Troy game as pretty embarassing, but no one outside of the few in attendance at TS saw it.
UT at UCLA
South Carolina giving the Big Ten their only bowl win.

New rule for this thread - your team has actually had to have been to the SEC championship game in order to make a comment. So, as far as the state of Mississippi goes, the only people with the right to comment are Miss St fans.
Blah, blah, blah...we got our asses whipped last year so let me put some stipulations in on a thread I didn't even start.

What about the blackout? Georgia went down 31-0 at the half in their own house, on national TV.

1. LSU's defensive line
2. Alabama in the Sugar Bowl
3. Auburn at any point in the season
4. The Clawfense and The Tony Franklin System
5. The 3-2 debacle between Auburn and Miss. State

Ahhh the Blackout. That was probably my favorite game of the year. I was at the Big Spring Jam and they had the game set up on a huge screen. Instead of going around listening to the music, about 100 of us were crowding around watching the game. I didn't sit down once from start to finish lol.

UT vs UCLA was embarrassing, but not nearly as bad as the Wyoming loss.
We were something like 26-point favorites to win that game. From that perspective, it may have been the worst home loss in UT history.
Fulmer really had the boys ready to go that day.

1. Alabama losing to Utah
2. UT losing to Wyoming at home
3. UT losing to UCLA

Wait, you are seriously going to rank the Utah loss ahead of the wyoming loss?

I interpret the question as what was the biggest embarrassment for us as a conference.
Easily... when the pundits make the case about leaving the SEC out of the BCS Championship game next year, are they going to be talking about TN / Wyoming? No. They will be talking about how Utah took Alabama to the woodshed. SEC strength isn't determined by who represents the bottom of the conference, it is the leaders in a prospective sport that determines our strength.
Alabama was one of the best teams in the SEC last year and they got dominated on the national stage by a school from a non-BCS conference. Forever changing the argument of non-BCS schools in the BCS game and potentially the BCS Championship game.
What does the UT / Wyoming game mean in comparison to that? Near nothing. Was it embarrassing for UT? No doubt. Was it embarrassing for us as a conference? Not really that much.
