No idea on Mauk does he play for an SEC team?
Don't think so. I think he plays for some B1G or Big 12 team.

This guy has no talent to work with this year. Unfair for him to be on this list IMO.

serious lol on that one.. he beat YOU,

then one of the best defenses(supposedly) in Fl, not his fault UK rolled up on the schedule next, then if our D could have converted on just one of many 3rd and long situations we win the USC game as well. I know you never have trouble beating USC,, right?

again..

The reason why the Bama offense has been so hard to stop in recent years has been an incredible OL. While they are still decent there, they just simply aren't what they were in the past few years. Sure, recruiting has continued apace, but no matter how many top ranked HS guys a team picks up, there is always a much greater than average chance for a bust along the OL than anywhere else.

I agree with you, but you can only sign the best players available and Alabama (Nick) does just that. I understand that Blue collar teams like 2013 Auburn have an edge, sometimes, usually talent wins out. Now, does Bama have 1's across the board on the O-line? No. However, Alabama usually doesn't get into shootouts, with rare exceptions, like UGA '12 or A&M '13. Alabama wins with defense. It's just what we do. Alabama has never really been an "offensive team" that's why it took forever to get a Heisman to Tuscaloosa. (Special thanks to A&M's Crow for the Heisman donation before Ingram's arrived )

I'm not too worried about our chances in a 4 team playoff.

If your fat defense doesn't give up 17 points in the 2nd half and your fat offense can muster up more than 3 points in the 2nd half, you might have won, yeah.

Buuuuuuuut

FYI the PSU S&C coach was sent packing from last season, not saying this year's is any better but we sure hope so!

The fact that they are the favorites to win the SEC in most people's minds is downright confusing to me.

If that is confusing to you, then you should change your user name to 'Simple Jack'.

Thank God.

Could you imagine the outcry if we play sloppy in a win like Va Tech and lose a game in season like 2013? Then drop one in the post season???

We'll have to fire Saban...

I just laugh at the Bama doubters. They'll hang on every possibility that Bama will falter. But, I remember what it was like being on the other side of Saban. It was just brutal..

I hope so too. I hate seeing a good team get hit with stuff they can't really control like that.

Bama fatigue is a real thing. There are plenty of teams that can lose one game and still make the 4 team playoff. I am not sure that Bama is one, just because everyone is sick of them but Bammers. I think the voters are looking for anyone, but...

but you also have to give it to them based on recent in-game and recruiting success. It does depend on who they lose to though.

Lets say they lose to Auburn or LSU.... Then yeah i could see them making it.

They lose to a lowly Big12 squad like A&M or WVU? No chance.
