yeah Mitch did too, transferring to USC was an incredibly stupid decision.
though I don't believe his ceiling was as high as these two

quote:DGB was an athletic freak while Dyer was not. As a RB, Dyer had to excel in college to get drafted high. As a 6'6 WR with speed, DGB could have exercised and worked at McDonald's for 3 years and still get drafted.
you really don't get it do you?
both guys fricking up in school probably cost them millions, in my opinion DGB still gets paid, Dyer won't.
Thus Dyer wasted his talent more.

I see DGB just entered the draft.
Clearly the answer is DGB.
I was going to say it was too early to tell since he still had time at OU.

and that's why I said Dyer wasted more because he needed to stay in school 4 years, keep clean, couldn't rely on measurables like DGB

Go play with your extra chromosome

Relying on his measurables and not doing shite is exactly why he was a bigger waste of talent at the college level. Dyer took his talent, put up numbers and won awards and championships. DGB didn't do anything. You can't base it off money made in the NFL because DGB would have to quit football to not play in the NFL. Dyer was never a sure thing to play at the next level, no RBs are.

But, Dyer did something significant and thus to some extent effectively utilized his talent. Could he had done more? Absolutely.
DGB had one productive year and therefore wasted more talent compared to Dyer.
Dyer's 2010>DGB's 2013 by a country mile

No.
The argument you're making is that DGB has more God given talent to begin with and is more of a niche.
DGB was given 10 talents by God and Dyer was given 5.
Neither have invested their talents very wisely at the college level.
I'll let you figure out the rest of the parable.
This is like trying to decide who was the bigger waste of an inheritance: the rich kid who inherited $10 million and did squat with it or the middle class kid who inherited $100k in life insurance and did squat with it. Both wasted their inheritance but one had a shitton more inheritance to waste.

DGB still probably goes n the first 2 or 3 rounds imo and could have an amazing career in the league
Talent wise he probably could, I am just not certain he will not destroy any chance at a career before he gets a year in.
