Tuscaloosa is just fine. Nothing great at all but certainly not boring with nothing to do. Lake Tuscaloosa is sweet and the area now has some decent public golf courses as well. The city has gotten MUCH better since I was in school. I wouldn't have cared to live there when I was in school but wouldn't mind so much anymore.
every time i have gone there i wanted to kill myself with the exception of when i saw the disco biscuits at the jupiter. that was fricking badass.
tigerland and reggies sucks, and you are just asking to get jumped if you hang out in that parking lot after 2. Ive never seen anyone jumped outside of bogies. I saw someone getting jumped outside of shadys one time and I stood up for the guy. Then all the doobrahs tried to fight me. One swung and missed. Luckily I had my taser with; and fricked his shite up. The best bars other than bogies in baton rouge are all on perkins. Ivars, Chelseas,Zee Zees, Schlitz, the bulldog. I've never had any trouble over there

I could make myself hate Austin, Texas, if I wanted to. You obviously have disdain for Alabama football, so you're unlikely to see Tuscaloosa for what it is. You'll always harp on the negative.

Thank god you never hung out on Chimes St. There were some epic brawls there. Reggies used to be Sports 25cent jello-shots on thurs. if i remember right. I saw the most massive fight ever there. 3 friggin bars emptied out into the lot. TBH i would feel safer in TT wearing all P&G than in BR on a Monday night.

Dude that is UT stomping ground on 5th street. I don't think anyone has ever heard of a Baylor hangout worth a crap. Now ULL's strip... i would comment but i can't remember any nights there

I lived in Baton Rouge for a while. So don't try to convince me of how safe it is in the general area around LSU's campus. I know shite happens on The Strip from time to time, but that is hardly a reason for a LSU fan to talk shite considering.
A big difference in LSU being in a city and UA not

quick update so it's not anchored..lol
Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit commander Capt. Loyd Baker said two separate incidents sent victims to the hospital, but neither injury was directly related to the gun fire. Two men were charged with reckless endangerment for firing shots into the air to disperse the gathering crowd.
The first victim, who sources identify as Alabama receiver DeAndrew White, was injured in the first altercation around 2 a.m. on the 1200th block of University Boulevard.
An unidentified 31-year old received “severe head injuries” when a second fight broke out on the perimeter of the first, Baker said.
“It’s not part of that fight, but it happens after the crowd … you can see there are some people in the crowd who are still kinda ramped up and angry about what’s happened to the man who is laying on the pavement,” Baker said.
As of early afternoon, Baker said White remained in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ryan Javaris Hamilton and Quamayne Rakesh Tolbert, both 22, were arrested for firing the gun. Both identified themselves as Stillman College students, Baker said.

its boring and there isnt anything to do. the fact that this happened on campus is even worse. this really reflects what kind of a place tuscaloosa is
Okay you hypocrite douche, a guy was killed outside Tigerland just last month, which if I am not mistaken, is but a hop skip and a jump off the LSU campus. LINK
I've got nothing against BR, but don't talk shite when your own town has its own issues.

You carry a taser?
Tasers are pretty fun to use on someone when given the opportunity. Stun guns are pretty nice as well. My wife got one when the serial killer was roaming BR and its pretty badass.
