This isn't totally accurate. The Texas constitution itself recognizes UTex as the state's prime university. Here's a source: LINK.

Most of the major Georgia metro areas aren't. The rural parts of the state are but areas like Atlanta, Augusta, even spotty areas around Columbus, aren't.

The Texas Constitution recognizes University of Texas and Texas A&M as flagship universities. That is how A&M gets PUF funding.

My county was a 95-5 MAGA county...
And as for tFlagship school in this great state, Columbia is split into two counties, Richland and Lexington. Richland I believe MAGA'd, Lexington went blue.
