I must say I agree. College baseball is a big 3 sport unless you are a fan of some program that thinks college wrestling or volleyball is a giant sport. College baseball also produces the future MLB players which in itself is huge.

No one really does prior to 1998. It was a fricked up system (or lack thereof). 11–0 in '64 and declared by a major selector at the time counts. Now, the one we "technically" have a share to in 1977, THAT one is not legitimate. No Arkansas fan ever claims it.
Not that I particularly care. A title given over 50 years ago with no real method of selection isn't a big deal. I'm ready for an actual title in my lifetime.

What Andy is doing right now after 12 guys signed pro contracts and now another pitcher out with a groin on top of 8 out for the season is damn remarkable.
ETA: I had to throw this in. When we swept Ole Miss on the road, we were 2 players short of a travel squad. That's right, we did not even have enough healthy players on both ends to fill a travel squad. Never seen that before!!

Well I don't want to say it'll never happen because crazy things happen and there are no absolutes in sports.... But I wouldn't put a lot of stock into waiting on one if I were you

Tennessee nearly won 2 of the 3 in 1951. Lost CWS championship to Oklahoma 3-2 and won the NC (consensus) in football.

You are unbelievably awesome at football, but you suck at everything else....
You may think you're being clever but I honestly have no fricking clue what that means nor do I care. CBB and CFB actually make money for most universities. I'm sure most lose out in baseball. Baseball also isn't remotely close to the draw that CBB and CFB are....also baseball is shite.

I don't know the exact stats, but very few college programs actually "make money" at sports.....
LSU does and I'm sure alabama does.....

Ask your boy Switzer who won the 1964 Football Natty. He was an assistant for that Hog National Chanpionship team. Btw....it is a consensus title and that's why the NCAA recognizes it. ....Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer, Ken Hatfield, Johnny Majors, and Jerry Jones will slap you silly for your ignorance
