Yes, but just barely.

The big 3 is pretty damn shady but there's a clear cut number 1 in all of the big 3 sports

Football- Bama
Baseball- LSU
Basektball- Kentucky

Oh, I certainly prefer this over what we were. And I'm lucky I didn't really start following college football till '95 and Dinardo brought back the magic.

Yeah, he'll never get the credit he should, but we owe him a lot.

After LSU and South Carolina there is a lot of teams in the middle that could try to argue their case. I would still probably pick Florida after researching them all real quick.

Mississippi State:

33 NCAA Tournament Appearances
9 CWS Appearances
1 CWS Runner-Up

Alabama:

22 NCAA Tournament Appearances
7 CWS Appearances
2 CWS Runner-UP

Georgia:

10 NCAA Tournament Appearances
6 CWS Appearances
1 CWS Runner-Up
1 National Championship

Florida:

29 NCAA Tournament Appearances
8 CWS Appearances
2 CWS Runner-Up

Arkansas:

26 NCAA Tournament Appearances
7 CWS Appearances
1 CWS Runner-Up

How many national titles does Miss State have to warrant themselves as baseball's "big 3?"

UGA has been to the CWS 6 times so it's not a few times but we are behind MSU's 9. We have the 1990 CWS championship

That would put y'all ahead of MSU in my book. Can I just put them tied with y'all. Polk and MSU brought baseball to the SEC. I think y'all should be tied with LSU too in football.

Georgia is efficient when it comes to baseball. Only 10 trips ever to the tournament but they've made it to the CWS 60% of the time. A waaaaayyyy better ratio than anyone else.

Did not know that. That is impressive. Just as impressive as halls stat I saw. 10 sweet 16's, 10 Elite 8's, and 6 final Fours.

Big 3 for Big 3 Sports (All Time)
College Baseball National Championships

Bama: 0
State: 0

So in the absence of National Championships we next go to National Championship runner-ups:

Bama: 5
State: 1

Pretty clear. Bama>State

Wiki is lying to you.

Titles:
Bama 0
State 0

Runner-Ups:
Bama 2
State 1

CWS trips:
Bama 5
MSU 9

It's pretty close between the 2 depending on what you value highest...

I'd replace Arkansas with LSU in basketball, though.

Look at the records over time. Arkansas had a 5 year run in the 90's and have been mediocre otherwise.

Other than that, its good.

Well we have more all-time wins than LSU so what does that make LSU?
