Who do you think it was?

Who knows. It could have been anyone. Considering the source didn't specify head coach it could have just as easily been an assistant.

I just don't think they're going to be the same. In my opinion, there's a slow, steady decline of that program

We are really just disappointed. I think we LSU fans learned that sensitivity from Saban.

Terribly Disappointing

Its funny that they are trying to attribute it to a coach that has never even coached against LSU. How does he know they are in a steady decline when he doesn't know how good they were in the first place?

This is what the offseason is for. Lets make a list of the possible suspects.

Bielema
James Franklin
Grantham
Muschamp
Cristobal
Mike Sumlin
Taylor Hamm impersonating an SEC coach
Gus Malzahn's wife
Steve Spurrier
Chris Kiffin

The last time LSU and Wisconsin played was in the 70's.

11-2
11-3
8-6

jump off ship. Sounds like he can identify a program in decay pretty damn well.

Not responding to you individually just haven't read this.

I want to hear him at the Media Days.

The guy surely has his work cut out for him. Given the scenario (Bobby P to Jonelle, now to him) he has to make the program "his". Media Days should be interesting to say the least.

Sounds like Saban, same syntax and variable sentence length.

I'm very surprised by how ineffective he's been as a recruiter. Auburn and Tennessee are pulling top talent. Kentucky is recruiting at an all time high. Arkansas is stuggling to stay in the top 50. You think he'd pull some players with the hogs recent success and his BCS pedigree.

I just don't think it will work. He's never pulled talent, he's not familiar with the South or the SEC. Just one man's opinion, but I think he was easily the worst of the 4 new hires last year.

1) I don't think you've given him a chance yet
2) how bad is his recruiting so far and why don't you think it is working if it is not?

I'd think there would be some adjustment in coming to the SEC but he clearly is a real college football coach and should be given some kind of proper opportunity before passing judgment

We have 4 commits right now. Two 4*'s and two 3*'s.

I guess he must be upset by lack of commits.

I thought it was funny when the OP said we had the worst hire of the 4 new coaches, yet we got the only one who was a head coach in a BCS conference.
