Losing because of a last second lucky bounce or getting trucked 34-7. Hmmmm?
Yeah, I think the 34-7 still hurts, don't it?
And it really should, given as it's not going to get any better for you in 2015.

Not at all. The season meant nothing at that point. It sucked at the time for sure, but it was a game that was quick to get over.

AU went on to win the SEC and play for the NC. What did UGA go on to do? AU sucked it up and UGA accomplished nothing.

I think UGA could have the best overall offense in the sec next year.

We ran it around 63% of the time last year which only 2 other teams in the SEC have done in the last 20 or so years and none repeated it.
Auburn running percentage under Malzahn...
2009 - 60.2%
2010 - 68.8%
2011 - 64.7%
2013 - 71.9%
2014 - 64.6%

A little, but losing to A&M, Bama and Wisconsin kinda just loses it in the shuffle

I mean, FWIW he's about as proven as you can be for a backup. SEC football fans (not just AU people) have been hyping him for 2 years. Who knows what'll play out, but unless he just has big game paralysis or something, I think most assume he'll at least be a competent QB in the conference.

Link? All I've seen is AU people slobbering over him. He may turn out to be good, but the same is true for Brice Ramsey and Jacob Park. All of them were highly recruited.

If this is around the Godwin talk, the question isn't which team will have a better passing attack when he is a freshman. It is what team will give him the better opportunity to showcase his skillset over the next 3-4 years. Ramsey can get him the ball, and when Eason comes in, he damn sure can get him the ball, but so can Jeremy Johnson who seems like he can sling the rock pretty good as well. With the current coaching staffs and philosophies, I find it hard to argue that AU is the better option, but with Williams looking really good last year, I see the attractiveness.
