Let's hear it

ETA: in an attempt to prevent trolling, yes I guess I'm indirectly discussing slayton and Godwin but more from an angle of what offenses the teams will look like next year and what they are selling.

We won't run it nearly as much next year plus we have a qb who can throw it deep this year unlike Mason last year. Still I'm not sure who actually does throw for more yards.

Regardless, Georgia wins big over AU (again) next year.

How so? Pretty sure it is a straight forward question. AU has been more recent a read option, pass off the run team, and UGA is a more proto typical NFL style and airs it out more. New UGA OC but AU going to a more conventional QB next year.

Thanks for actually responding, so you think y'all run less despite Chubb and new QB?

Historically, teams that run the ball as much as we did in 2014 do not run it nearly as much the following season. Of course our running game will be the strength of our O in 2015, but we will have a more explosive passing game than we did with Mason - it just won't be as consistent.

I would expect our passing attack will be ridiculous in a few years when Eason is slinging it around to Godwin and Slayton. Is that what you wanted to hear?

We ran it around 63% of the time last year which only 2 other teams in the SEC have done in the last 20 or so years and none repeated it so I think it's safe to say we'll throw it more next year. Plus, we're usually at about a 50/50 split between the run and pass.

We shall endeavor to do what we always try to do - have a balanced offense.

Given Ramsey will be a new QB for us and we will have one of the best stable of RBs in the country, I would not be too surprised if we are a bit run heavy next season.

A lot will depend on how well Ramsey protects the ball on pass plays, so ...

As for Auburn, I know nothing about your new QB and I'm not sure what you're bringing back on the OL or at RB. So, again ...

My guess it is based on the argument on other sites due to Godwin/Slayton recruiting battle.

It was a catalyst for the conversation, sure, but don't know people can't answer in a legitimate fashion?

Not at all. After the TAMU game we mailed it in the rest of the season. On the other hand, you will never get over this
