What about LSU defense would you say was better? I thought A&M moved the ball well, the turnovers obviously were killers. A&M offense definitely has gotten better since their 1st game vs UF though.

Good god. A&M moved the ball for 1 damn quarter an then was shut the frick down until prevent def.

A team like UT with WR's who could win 1 on 1 match-up and a great pass-pro line like UT would score 30 on LSU.

This is pure speculation thrown out by a clear Bama homer and LSU hater. Zero objectivity with this highly speculative statement.

If you can't win an argument with stats throw out speculation.

Easily better.....and it ain't even close. Better d-line with more depth, muuuchhhh better LBers, much better & deeper secondary as well. It's a silly topic to even discuss really. Better comparison would be UF/UGA......

Wow you're stupid.
Total defense (YOU KNOW WITH STATS THAT ARE FACTS) has LSU ahead of UF.

UF has a "much better secondary"? Really?? National Passing Efficiency Defense: #2 LSU 90.4 #3 UF 90.6 National Passing defense: #4 LSU 148.5 yards allowed #16 UF 180.4 yards allowed National Interceptions:

Oh don't bring facts into this arguement. UF is better because some bitch says so.

UF played UT LSU did not. A team like UT with WR's who could win 1 on 1 match-up and a great pass-pro line like UT would score 30 on LSU. LSU secondary is not close to as good as the numbers this year.

Ryan Mallet and Arky didn't score 30 on LSU and they were far better than UT. Get a clue boy

Really??

LSU 2011 Pass Defense: 171.4 yards allowed/game
LSU 2012 Pass Defense: 148.5 yards allowed/game

LSU 2011 Pass Efficiency Defense: 95.6
LSU 2012 Pass Efficiency Defense: 90.4

LSU 2011 Interceptions: 1.29/game
LSU 2012 Interceptions: 1.63/game

It's inappropriate to use these stats. LSU faced Oregon, West Virginia, BP Arkansas, and Georgia last season. That's not even comparable to what you've faced this season.

And we all thought it was because they wore LSU's arse down and punched them in the throat in the 4th quarter. Oh and they won.

So you're basing it off of LSU def being worn down because our offense was 0/13 on 3rd downs? Why not look at the first half when both defenses were fresh. UF had 40 yards of offense.i think UF and LSU have very similar defenses. LSU gets to the qb better so I give them the nod. I'd have no problem saying UF was better if I thought that.

Let's start with the DL. Let me know when 3 of UF's DL will be 1st round draft picks. You must have missed Minter getting 20 tackles (17 solo) against the Gaytors. UF's LBers aren't as good as LSU's. The secondaries are about even. Therefore, LSU has the better overall D.

Really Impressed with the UF secondary. I think they have the best in the country. Nasty CB tandem and Elam is playing lights out.

Elam is definitely a beast. Lightning fast and seems to always be near the action on any play. Also, that hit he laid on his teammate against LSU was hilarious
