Why, what were their stats last year ?

Auburn's top two? They lost their best receiver to the draft.

Ole Miss has 1 receiver. Treadwell excelled last year because he had Moncrief to take off some pressure. He's gonna be locked down this season, book it
Lol if you believe that. He's the most physical WR in the SEC. Also having Evan Ingram back at TE and Vince Sanders back is going to create mismatches all over the field. Double team Treadwell and you'll just give more space for someone else. Ingram would have been 1st team all sec if he didn't go down in the middle of the year last year.

In reference to your comment about star power, UGA's WR corps isn't exactly a bunch of scrubs.
Two of the best returning from last year were only 3 star recruits but here's who we've got star-wise and I'm probably leaving out a few...
Mitchell 4*
JSW 4*
Conley 3*
Bennett 3*
Marshall (1/3 of his yards were receiving) 5*
Gurley (top 3 rec. last year) 4*
Langley (db moved to offense) 4*
Rumph 4*
Blazevich 4*
Williams 4*
McKenzie 4*
In summation, the star power is there. We talking about pure star power, UGA is up there.
And to repeat, UGA does return over 2500 yards worth of receivers from last year. We only lost 2 backups in Wooten and McGowan. ETA and Lynch, he gone.
I've yet to see anyone claim to have more than 2500 receiving yards returning for them.

I guess I will answer my own question. This with a Heisman runner-up throwing it to them:
NAME REC YDS AVG LONG TD
Amari Cooper 45 736 16.4 99 4
DeAndrew White 32 534 16.7 67 4
Christion Jones 36 349 9.7 38 2
O.J. Howard 14 269 19.2 52 2

I wouldn't trade our WRs for any other corp in the nation.

LOL Gurley had 100 more receiving yards than C. Jones did last year, and Gurley missed 3 games.

We have 1 receiver that you can name from memory. There is a difference.
Laquon Treadwell
Vince Sanders
Quincy Adeboyejo
Markell Pack
Evan Engram in slot
Sammie Epps
But nice try

So after week one...
A&M
Auburn
The rest
UGA at #1 is a joke. They are a run first offense, their WRs will never put up the numbers A&M and Auburn do. Malcolm Kennedy had more receiving yards in week 1 than the entire UGA receiving corps.

Treadwell is the only receiver that would sniff the field at A&M. I'm not saying your guys aren't good, ours are just better. Quincy was committed to A&M and got scared of the competition so he went to a school where he could get playing time.
