What are we ranking them by? I think it should be by efficiency, not total yards.

They don't have to be world beaters. They just have to be decent, and we have a high ceiling.

This. Total yards literally mean nothing and total points can even be deceiving. Arkansas, LSU, and Alabama probably all have just as much talent on offense as Texas A&M.

It will be interesting on Auburn's end. Duke will probably be the best possession receiver in the conference, but there's the gap that Coates leaves on the edge. Having a consistent down-field threat is a huge part of Malzahn's offense. I expect the running game to be near the top, but we don't fully know what to expect with Dismukes gone. Indications are the position is in good hands, but I still expect growing pains at the position when a 4 year starter leaves.

If AU can't get a consistent running game established, I have my doubts that Jeremy Johnson will be able to open it up with his legs. He appears a lot more comfortable in the pocket. Couple that with the question mark of a down-field receiver, AU's offense could be anywhere from #1-#6 IMO. Nick Marshall, while not the best passer, kept the running game clicking. Hopefully the D is improved enough this year that they give the offense time to adjust and start clicking.

State returns Dak and all but 1 of our receivers. We will be in the top 7 in SEC offense

Our defense is the questionable area

What is adorable as you having LSU last and A&M first.

Get ready for another pounding this year.

1. Texas A&M - 0 points
7. Alabama - 59 points

Seems legit.

Somewhere in the middle-lower half (7-9 range).

I'd put us somewhere around 7-9th realistically. It all depends on our QB play. JMO

I don't think we will be one of the best offenses in the SEC... but I don't think we will be one of the worst either. New coach, slight changes to the old system, and a QB that is serviceable at best seem to point to us being fairly middle of the pack offense wise.

Now I do think our new OC will be an improvement going forward. For one thing our tendency to panic and go full air raid late in close games should be a thing of the past. Arkansas doesn't need a high powered offense, though we would be happy to take one, with our scheme. We need to control the clock, keep our defense fresh, and learn how to win close games and we should be fine.

Tennessee too high...OL will be much better this year, but I still believe that they will probably be the 5th or 6th ranked Offense in the conference..with that being said, their Defense will be extremely good this year.
