The BCS rules don't say most deserving. Why do you fools keep asking the same question over and over. Are you really that jealous of Bama?

It depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

Let's further define the question:

What do the rankings actually mean? A list, in descending order, of the best teams in the country, or a list of teams whose turn -- in fairness, mind you -- it is?

This mindset, taken to its most logical extreme, results in the team who didn't win being deemed the "second winner" instead of the loser.

Let's pussify sports a bit more, shall we?

So how is Bama better than okie St? They haven't played... I go back to when michagan and Ohio St where set fir a rematch in the NC. But Florida was chosen instead cause they where more DESERVING because they won there conference and Michigan had there chance. And we seen how that turned out. Okie may have lost to a crappie team but there resume besides that is more impressive. Bama needs to quit crying, cause if they took care of business they wouldn't be in this boat.

Jealous that my troll of a coach had to suck off and beg the media that he LOATHES 99% of the time to vote his team into the NC game? I was drinking beer and laughing that my team was 100% guaranteed to be in the NC game last night. Hardly jealousy. I can't wait to play y'all in New Orleans. Y'all couldn't beat LSU in front of 100,000 of your own fans. Y'all ain't beating Les (5-2 against Bama) Miles in a dome, an hour from home, with a month to prepare.

The BCS says

The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) is a five-game showcase of college football. It is designed to ensure that the two top-rated teams in the country meet in the national championship game,

and

his robust system of post-season bowl games offers rewards for teams and places a great premium on the regular season.

LINK

By their own language OSU is the clear choice.

Its not going to happen because ESPN and bama manipulated a flawed system.

Its not the first time and it won't be the last but perhaps we finally get a playoff out of this travesty.
