Because of a screwed flawed system probally oaki state when we all know bama would drum roll them, TR would have probally 1000 yards. Bama is the only team that can beat us and vice versa. It's sad really that were in the same division and conference. It's like when the niners and cowboys always had to play in the Nfc championship game.

Almost Sure win Oki although anything is possible. In a fair system we get a buy and play the winner of bama ,Oki st. And I bet bama wouldn't have a problem with that but can't say the same about the cowboys.

With Bama LSU gets the best of both worlds!
The Tide is the best possible opponent and considering their lone loss was to a MUCH more impressive team than was OSU's debacle at ISU, Bama is the most deserving as well.

Truth? We don't know who is better because they haven't played. We all just have our opinions... Don't forget 2006 no one could beat Ohio State until Florida smushed them.

Oklahoma beat a #3 Bama in a year Bama finished 3-8. End of year ranking is what matters in talking about SOS. Not, when they played.

There have been several years where it was generally assumed that the runner up in the SEC was a better team than the other team selected to face the SEC champ. Florida in 09' comes to mind. Not sure why this argument that suddenly the BCS should ignore conferences in the selection process has become such a talking point.

This argument is just bad, stop using it. Any team with 1 loss is going to complain about not being the championship game. LSU beat alabama, therefore another team should have its chance against LSU.

Exactly. I have no doubt LSU will win the BCSCG, no matter who they play. Until the Tigers lose, I will go on thinking no other team can beat them.
However, even if Alabama does make the title game, a significant portion of the country will feel they are undeserving of the chance.
I find I like that very much.
