2011 LSU destroyed the rose bowl and fiesta bowl champions, 3rd ranked Arkansas, sec east champion Georgia, and inched by the national champion alabama team who later beat up LSU. That team wouldve beaten all teams easily on the lists people are naming but 2004 auburn. LSU woulve probably won that one by a td or two. I know auburns backfield was ridiculous but LSUs dline was fast as hell that year.

Against that defense, LSU would've found ways to score. Be it a punt return or something. I can say the same about auburn too though bc I am confident that if the 2004 LSU defense could hold auburn to 10 points so could the 2011 LSU defense. That team wasnt unbeatable they beat a 9-3 LSU team by 1 after a missed extra point. Granted I believe auburn deserved to win, but still. It's not fair to say they blow a team out of the water who had a better resume of quality wins and was 1-1 verses the best national championship team since the 01 canes.

Tennessee 1939, undefeated and unscored upon during the regular season.

Tennessee 2001, loaded with great talent, choked in Atlanta against the Saban Tigers.

1986 Canes...team was absolutley loaded. Teasteverde,Jerome Brown,Michael Irvin.Alonzo Highsmith. Had 3 guys taken in the top 10 NFL picks.

Had no business losing to PSU in the Fiesta. To this day,
Jimmy Johnson has said it was the worst loss of his career.

And the 1985 Miami team was just as loaded, but lost their chance when an underdog Tennessee team blew them out.

Not really...all those guys were a year younger and 1 year makes a huge difference in CFB...86 Canes vs 86 Vols woulda been a laugher.

They'd already lost to us that season though.
