can run in any system you place him in.

Hell he had 1,000 yards in that jacked-up Loeffler offense in 2012.

Obviously he's a good player, but Percy harvin was in the perfect system at Florida IMO.

No. I just meant that most coaches could find a way to use him effectively. I think he would have excelled at other programs, not just UF.

Percy Harvin is pretty much the complete opposite of a system player.

Do the Bears run the same "system" that USCe does?

Both seem content to let gunslinger QBs get beat to hell. Both are starting to change their system though

He had Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, and Maurkice Pouncey at UF.

He's also the GOAT college QB.

I don't necessarily disagree. I would have given my left nut to have him at LSU for 4 years

No denying that. But I doubt Mike Shula could've done with Tebow what Meyer did.

Cam Newton, on the other hand, has seen quality PT in a Meyer, Malzahn, and Mike Shula offense.

Cam Newton is not a "system" player.

This. Say what you will about his NFL ability, but I do think he would've done well elsewhere other than UF.

Now that I think about it, David Greene was probably the "system" QB of the 2000s.

He held the SEC passing yardage record for nearly a decade, but he was obviously not THAT good.

Maybe

Newton wasn't that great at UF. He was Tebow's backup in 07 (Brantley Redshirted), and Brantley was the backup in 2008.

I liked Greene, thought he was a solid QB, but I really wonder how much Richt's offensive scheme has changed since that time.

eta: I really liked how they used Murray the last 3-4 years in his offense

I like Greene too. I just think he benefitted from circumstances more than actual talent.

He would have been ok but Tebow was the epitome of system player and the GOAT.

Jordan Jefferson wouldn't have been nearly as awesome in another offense.
