Besides Detroit and Baltimore... New Orleans has to be the biggest shite hole of a city Ive ever been to. Corrupt, dirty and over priced.

You must hate music, food, and unique culture.

You take away n.o. and louisiana is mississippi

these angles taken when comparing and contrasting things never make any sense.

hell take new york city from new york. take atlanta from georgia. There are countless worthless examples.

The truth is New Orleans is in LA.

FTMFW.
THere isn't a fan base on earth, that lets a game , played by kids , define them like Bama fans.

Football talent, female talent, fishing, ridiculously weird criminal activity

MS would be top 5 in all of these. Honestly MS probably has the hottest women, or at least top 3. Fishing is good along with hunting. Football talent is highest per capita.

Weird criminal activity...well I don't even want to say some of the stuff that goes on down here. Also MS probably retains more of the Old South culture than any other State. We are heavily lacking in the bars/entertainment areas but we make our own fun.

It has things...Just no things that set it apart. Gulf Shores is decent if you don't feel like driving a little further to the superior beaches of Florida, but outside of that, there is nothing that makes people say,"Damn, I need to go visit Alabama". It mostly is a pass-through state, for people going to ATL, Florida, and throughout the eastern coast

i actually liked Dauphin Island, beach was decent, and a very relaxing island.

Tier 1 - states w/ a broad array of high quality things to offer:

Texas (Austin, Gulf coastline, many major cities)
Florida (Miami, coastline, the Keys, so bad they're good Spring Break spots)

Tier 2 - states w/ at least one high quality thing to offer and some other above avg quality things:

Louisiana (New Orleans, culture)
South Carolina (Charleston, coastline)
Tennessee (Nashville, mountains)

Tier 3 - states w/ some above avg quality things to offer:

Georgia (ATL, Savannah, Athens)
Arkansas (Ozarks)
Kentucky (the horse stuff)

Tier 4 - states w/ no real high or above avg quality things to offer (but not necessarily bad):

Alabama
Mississippi

Have not been to Missouri

I'd venture to say that just as many people from across the US come to the MS coast vs the AL coast. And as far as LA being sportsman paradise, a very large number of its residents have their hunting camps... In Mississippi
