Really anxious to see what Jonathan Allen does now that many teams are gonna focus and gameplan against him.

I just hope they get developed.

The defensive side of the ball is more talented than the offensive side of the ball, IMO.

I'm excited to see Davon Godchaux for LSU. Had a great year last year and should have an even better year under Aranda.

Hell, the SEC is absolutely loaded at DL. Loaded.

From top to bottom this is the deepest DL group I can remember. Almost every team has an outstanding pass rusher.

Lukily he is probably our 4th best lineman at best at this point...assuming Beanum returns, he and Ledbetter are better. Agim will face many more interior guys than either of the tackles

I hope Arden Key and Davon Godchaux wreak havoc on offensive lines for LSU this year

Agreed, but reading this thread made me appreciate just how many teams are loaded on the DL. The 6th or 7th best DL in our league is going to be a really salty group. If you just look at DE it is ridiculous how many guys there are that can really, really play

Returning is the key word. I'm thinking we may actually have the best pair of DE's in the SEC this season. Wise is going to be a great one this year but he will play his arse off to be ahead of McTelvin Agim. I think we have the capability of having 2 Clowney type players at DE.

This. McTelvin Agim will be a household name midway through the season this year as a freshman. The kid is a freak show. As a senior in high school he was an absolute wrecking ball on the defensive line and even returned a kick for a TD. Fast, big, and angry.

He got into a fist fight with Dan Skipper on one of his first days of practice. Just plays angry. Both those guys.

Anyways, with Wise and Agim on either end the defensive line is going to SHOCK people. They're gonna be good.

Really like A&M's defensive line. First time A&M has had depth (more than 70+ scholarship players) since joining the SEC. Hopefully no more starting DEs at DT, RBs at DB, and WRs at LB!!! It would be nice not to play anymore walk-ons in the 2 deep too.

Chavis likes smaller fast LB FWIW. Too bad y'all aren't in the big 12 where that is really what those packages are designed to stop.

LSU Dline may be 2011 nasty come November. We will be pretty solid if we don't experience the usual off season BS.

Our starting LBs this year will be around 235-250.

Hardly small for the position.

Derek Barnett, Myles Garrett, and Jonathon Allen at the top, but the SEC is loaded at DE this year.
