Who are you excited to see from your own teams Dline? Whether returning from injury or someone expected to have a breakout year.

I'm excited to see Marquis Haynes blow it up like last year as well as Isaac Gross coming back from his injury at tackle. I'm going to be watching Breeland speaks to see how he handles replacing big rob too.

You?

Im gonna be watching to see how Daron Payne develops. He's nowhere near the best DL Bama has but he played a lot as a freshman and has a ton of potential.

I think Jonathan Allen was our best defensive player at the end of last year. Should be a monster again

Most excited to see or best?

I can't wait to see Kongbo opposite of Barnett, and for Shy to get healthy and start wreaking havoc again.

I know Allen should be our best down lineman but I won't bet against Payne. He will be one of the best inside guys in the country. He is a monster. Strongest guy on the team and has a 4.9 forty time. Beast.

I'm curious to see Auburn's rotation of the defensive line as a whole.

It's one of the most talented defensive lines I remember Auburn having, from top to bottom.

Carl Lawson
Jeff Holland
Byron Cowart
Paul James III
Monty Adams
Devaroe Lawrence
Maurice Swain
Marlon Davidson
Dontavius Russell
etc...

DE Deatrich Wise, JR

I think many would say Who?". I believe he currently has a 1st round draft grade

Monster SEC season last year...he can also dance a little

Should be one of the deepest DL units for the Ags in years. Looking forward to the return of Garrett and Hall along with Mack, Henderson, Walker and Keke in the interior.

4* Cunningham, 4* Madubuike and 4* Lockhart will provide valuable depth for the end position.

I was impressed with Wise last year. Hell, the SEC is absolutely loaded at DL. Loaded.

Returning is the key word. I'm thinking we may actually have the best pair of DE's in the SEC this season. Wise is going to be a great one this year but he will play his arse off to be ahead of McTelvin Agim. I think we have the capability of having 2 Clowney type players at DE.

I hope you do start a true freshman at defensive end. I love Agim but he's a freshman and much better players than him have struggled in this league their first year.
