His career average of 29.6 yards per touchdown pass is the highest in SEC history, and he broke SEC career records for total offense per game (284.2) and total offense per play (8.07) averages.

His ratio of pass attempts to interceptions of 1:42.8 is the fifth-best in conference history (min. 600 attempts).

His 158.1 career passing efficiency is the third-highest in SEC history.

His 3,869 passing yards are the third-highest single-season total in SEC history, and his 32 touchdown passes are tied for eighth on the conference’s single-season list.

When you have a quarterback who leads you to two National Championships, possibly three, he has to be considered one of the best. McCarron is up there.

Many Arkansas fans won't even agree with me, but I say Ryan Mallett. He was a lot better then the credit he received and much of his image was destroyed by draft shenanigans. He certainly has his faults, but much of the common criticism is nonsense.
