I'm going to the Arkansas game, if only because it's the last time we play there for a while.

Your list should look like this when deciding which ones to go to:

1)LSU/Ole Miss
2)LSU/Ole Miss
3)Arkansas
4)Mizzou

1. LSU - great food, good tailgating, guaranteed fantastic atmosphere and exciting stadium

2. Arkansas - Among the best facilities in the country, underrated gameday experience, friendly people, exciting game time atmosphere.

3. Ole Miss - overrated, but good tailgating, friendly people, good looking ladies. Boring game day experience otherwise.

I've never been to Mizzou

Oxford is unbelievably overrated. Small town and stadium sucks.

Hot chicks but you can see those at every SEC school.

Baton Rouge is a great time to party and see a game. Fayetteville is a very nice city with a lot to do, not a great tailgating atmosphere though. Super nice stadium and campus.

I am going to be a homer and say LSU, but in all honesty you have some pretty good choices. Ole Miss and Arky would be fun.

I literally laugh at people who say ignorant shite like this. Perhaps you walked by some of the older folk who didnt have kegs and dubstep at their tent, shame on them!

I love how people come to the grove once, walk through probably 100 yards of it then are all like "ERRRMAGERD THA GRERVE IS SER ERVERRATED!1!# WERNE AND CHERSE PERTY DERPA DER!!

My tent consists of:

A flat screen with Dish

Tons of food (yes the Grove has a rule on open flames but with all the different grilling apparati nowadays you have other options)

We usually have music playing but sometimes the folks across the row from us have a one man band who's badass. Then there's the folks who have the Elvis impersonator. Good times

Plenty of alcohol

Fun, laid-back people

All of this in a gorgeous oak grove with hawt trim runnin all nimbly bimbly.

Same. I hope just once in the next decade Arkansas is actually good and the stadium is 50/50 die hard fans expecting a win. Place is a spectacle, I hope the Cotton Bowl changed Aggeis opinion on the venue.

It is a beautiful setting to tailgate, but it wasn't rowdy, no open flame, awkwardly keeping your alcohol hidden in a cooler. It was nice, don't get me wrong, but there are things other venues deliver, that the Grove lacks, things a lot of people like. I don't see how you can deny that.

Spot on. The best thing about ole miss is actually sitting behind the outfield during home games. When there's a homerun hit everyone just slings frickin beer in the air. Pretty awesome.

Football tailgating is good, but it was kinda laid back. When I think of tailgating I think of shotgunning beers and people getting hammered. But hey, I'm from Louisiana and we're a little off our rocker down here.

Eta not that ole miss doesn't do all that, I guess. It was just a little different.

It really just depends on where you are and if you have a spot to call home-base essentially.

If youre a visiting fan walking around with a cooler, then yea I could see where pouring a drink might be a covert operation. We never have any problems with that type stuff in my area of the grove but there sure as hell isnt a shortage of a-hole cops in Lafayette County. We just seem to have some of the cooler ones in my area.

And as far as being rowdy, I'd have to say every home game this year had our area of the Grove rocking. Especially with all but one of our home games being night games.

Hopefully aTm will bring more folks this year though, I was honestly pretty disappointed in yalls turnout. First road game in the SEC and I bet yall didnt bring 5k. Maybe thatll change this year. Should be a badass game.

I can relate to this, in a bit of a different way. I think of tailgating I think of grills and especially big, custom, smokers. It's a must. But that may be the Texan in us.

Do Fayetteville, because the game won't be on campus for another decade at least.

Pretty laid back scene, friendly people. Even toward LSU fans. The only real hateful tension I've seen on gameday in Fayetteville was between us and Longhorn fans.

dont get me wrong, I'd love for the Grove to allow big arse cookers because you can bet your arse some serious grillin would be going down. But with all the oaks and people jammed in there, it just isnt the smart choice. They allow cookers on the outer rim of the grove by the street, no problem. You just cant have them inside for safety reasons.

Oxford is the BEST tailgating in the SEC period. It's a great town with great restaurants and bars.

Lay off the pipe please. Best tailgating in the SEC

LSU hands down on that list not only because of the tailgating but dude, it will be A&M at LSU and more than likely will be a night game.

The A&M game was the worst grove atmosphere all season. It was raining nearly the whole time. I hope you realize that.
