But it's laughable to say he is more talented when he is bigger and just as fast?

And it doesn't have anything to do with talent but it does give us a better metric to judge just how talented he is.

We've seen Fournette play against high school competition and stand out and we've seen Henry play against divsion 1 competition and stand out

Again, props to Henry, though 1 game were he was basically untouched is not an indicator. A full season, you bet. I've seen Jordan Jefferson stand out vs. Bama and guess what, didn't mean shite lol....

LF has everything people look for. Speed, power, quickness and excellent vision..

After next year we will have an answer.

Well he's just as fast and he's bigger and he's the all-time leader in rushing yards in HS.
And he's played in a college game before. Rantards gonna rantard

No doubt that one game isn't a lot to go on, but he wasn't "untouched", he broke tackles. Not, he DID also make people miss.

He's like a bigger, much faster Eddie Lacy who spins less and is more muscle than fat.

LF is legit, he's going to be a monster, but Henry is more proven right now. That said, I think LF will be better in the long run.

if the question is what tandem will finish 2014 with the best RB tandem I'd still say Auburn dude yet to be named plus Nick Marshall because I think the system will be run based and allow them to rack up yards.

going into 2014 however I say the best tandem is Gurley and Marshall.

best rb I think is Hill. I think Gurley is solid but he got stopped some games and I wonder if the injury bug or conditioning was the issue. if he plays to his peak potential he could be the best. or Henry if he plays like he did against OU.

but we don't know that....A lot of people besides Alabama fans think Henry is the next best thing..Oklahoma fans were saying he will probably win a Heisman and shite. They were in awe....Tons of NFL threads were made about Henry and all kinds of stuff. EVERYONE knows that kid is going to be special. Sometimes that's all it takes is one game. People can see talent and and it's easy for them to point out pretty quickly if they know what they're looking for.

I think the injury prevented him from conditioning. If you look at the games vs Clemson, South Carolina and the first quarter against LSU he was on an absolute tear. He was making hill look very average until his injury

=/= hill/ magee.

LSU fans grossly underestimate how good of a RB Hill was for us. Fournette has tough shoes to fill.

Something fishy about that.

Eta: Your "Turman" kid ... any relation to Daccus, the Gamecock, the one that broke all of Herschel's HS records?

solid bump. The LSU fans made assholes of themselves again (545). The funny part is the USA Today article that said he was staying was written by an LSU beat writer whos largely chastised by the fanbase but when he writes good news, the fanbase took it and ran with it.
