I would agree with that.

Dyer is going to be average once Cam leaves.

Get a new argument. The whole "Cam is god" is old.

I guess we wont win a game once Cam leaves.

Latt had one good performance all year. That was against Ga. He did good statistically Saturday. Other than that, he just gets more carries which equate to more yards.

Dyer will be better than Latt every year in college.

You obviously didn't watch him run yesterday. He was hitting holes at full speed and running through tacklers.

Obviously not based on statistics.

Lattimore picks up much needed 3rd downs and carries USC ground game, much like the combo of Ingram and Richardson.

Like someone mentioned earlier, Auburn runs a zone read with the best running QB in the country. That inflates Dyers numbers.

Also, Auburn doesn't depend on Dyer to get the tough yards on 3rd down. They rely on Newton for that.

It's obvous Lattimore is the best this year.

I did not watch galls game yesterday. I was out fricking with my vehicle.

Cam takes any spotlight Dyer would get imp. I have not watched Dyer much, but the times I did he did not look that good. Id take Richardson or Lattimore before him.

so if it's all about YPC, you agree Felix Jones is the best running back in the NFL ?

It's not just about YPC. Lattimore has about 100 more yards. If he had 7 YPC and only 200 yards it would be different. Lattimore has 65 more carries and 116 yards more. I think Trent would probably pick up a few more than 116 on 65 carries.

You're high of you think it is OBVIOUS he is the better back. It has been shown what happens to him when he faces a top rushing d. He gets stuffed. He has benefited playing vs the worst sec east there has possibly ever been all while dyer is doing it vs possibly the best sec west ever.

Here, the best back in the Sec is Cam.

That make you Aubbies happy?

Sounds like you can't really give a fair assesment if you haven't seen him play much.

Well that's pretty obvious. I thought we were only talking about RBs though. Listen, I'm not saying latt is bad, but to say dyer is not even close to him(I know you didn't say this) it's just plain stupid.

But with that logic Dyer has benefited by playing with Cam.

Best WR should be the next slap fight. AJ hasn't hit 100 against an SEC team yet this year.

Ok, it's gone, and Dyer still has as many yards with 31 less carries against a more difficult schedule.

Ok? Sorry we have a lot of playmakers on offense to make it easier for us. I guess we should just be like USC and just bring in a mediocre QB and just run it all the time.

Alshon is on track for 1400 yards.

Wow, this thread is terrible.

There are a lot of good, even great backs. Why does anyone need to put one down to make his/her favorite back look good?

Dyer, Latimore, Ingram, Richardson, et al are good/great.

The challenge is that each one has to overcome different obstacles, making it difficult to say one is completely better than the other.

That's cause he's the best WR in the league. It doesn't matter who's throwing him the ball.

Having more yards on significantly less carries is a pretty good case for Dyer at least being on par with Lattimore.

I understand he's got some weapons around him, but still. Watching him play he's got the best vision in a RB I've seen in a while.
