True freshmen don't improve? I mean, we essentially have several people arguing for a handful of other SEC true freshmen doing so. Yet the guy that was better than those won't?

Lock is inconsistent.

One drive he is Aaron Rogers, next drive he is Faton Bauta.

At OM?? Lmao he'll be running for his life next year in the SEC west!! He's a great looking prospect but went to the wrong school IMO, Auburn or LSU would have been the better choice but I don't blame him for not going to LSU, we had Les freakn Miles then. Can't believe we kept that man so long.

You have to look at the surrounding cast. Kelly was the best by far this year, but no surrounding cast. Same with some on that list.

I'll go Shea. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he made a run at the Heisman.
Shea and Miss. ain't exactly Notre Dame and Paul Hornung. You're not going to be considered for it unless your team is winning.

Austin Allen was really, really good until our Oline broke him.

I felt bad for him halfway through the Bama game. Every time I saw him play, he ese getting lit up. But he's my pick as of now

Agree, just seems like Eason lacks the IT factor

Lock and Patterson will dominate the passing stats. Fitzgerald and Hurts are the best wildcat backs.

2016 SEC Ranks for Austin Allen

Austin Allen wont make the end of the season if you guys don't protect him better than you did this year. Poor guy was running for his life and took several good hits. Think what he could do with some time in the pocket.

Bentley seemed a bit more polished last season. They are both very, very good.

Leaving Shea off your list shows you don't follow football that well

Wrong. We return 8 Off the OL that either started or played signicant snaps last year. Our OL will finally be a strength. As far as running game, it will improve dramatically with our new OC not running the RPO all year.

I remember catching so much hell on here when I once said watch out for a new QB named Fitzgerald in the near future for Miss State. Now he's in the conversation. Two thumbs up!
