Who knows if the Vols will get in or not, and the same holds true for Bama.

All today really proves is that this idea of a "resume" is such a sham. Bama is a better team than UT, they have proved it on the court, yet paper results say UT is better.

That's stupid. Bama is a bad match up for UT - clearly. Doesn't mean UT wouldn't be the better NCAAT team. They have a better chance of advancing in the NCAAT than Bama. That's why head to head is irrelevant in this case and for the committee's decision.

So I guess the sub .500 UGA team is clearly the better team than UT and should be on the bubble, and not UT if we go the head to head logic.

Should we go over your SEC schedule? Easiest of the 14 schedules. It's because of your non-conference schedule and performance - nothing to do with SEC play.

Yet UT still has the better resume - which is all that matters. Better go beat Florida.

This is so many levels of asinine. Tournament teams overcome bad matchups vs. "inferior" teams. The reason why UT can't overcome the matchup vs. Bama is because Bama is the better team.

Neither team is a world beater, and both would probably not make it out of the first weekend but trying to argue head to head is irrelevant is ludicrous, and why the tournament selection process is a fraud. Hopefully the selection committee would do the right thing in this situation.

Should we discuss how you got to play the 2 worst teams in the SEC twice? Or that you avoided playing and of the decent teams, other than UT, twice?

Sorry buddy - its about resumes - and head to head is pointless until the NCAAT is under way. If head to head meant shite then the Indiana State Sycamores would be a top 10 team in the country.

UGA, Bama, UK, Ole Miss - had we had your schedule we tie for the SEC. Nothing like 4 built in wins.

No need to apologize, UT will be in the NIT, and Bama still has a chance to make it in.

Jesus - look at the resumes and tell me that again with a straight face.

Do me a favor and go look up Cal's resume - and compare it to UT's.. Cal is solidly in.. expected to be in the 9-10 seed range.
