Only the second time the two storied programs have met, it’s a rematch of the 1981 Sugar Bowl for the national title.

That’s also the last time Georgia won a national championship, and to break the long, long, long stretch without one, it might have to come up with a repeat.

And do it without Herschel Walker.

And Jacob Eason.

Without a doubt the major storyline for both teams will be trying to stop the run game. Look for Notre Dame and Georgia to try and load the box, forcing young quarterbacks to try and beat them.

I hope Georgia wins big.

This is an intriguing match-up for a lot of reasons. I'm going to be a big Dawg fan for this game. Will be in Vegas watching all the games at one time from the Venetian betting parlor .... #GoDawgs!

I think UGA mudholes them honestly.

Both Programs are a shell of what they were in 1981.

I think the Irish show up Saturday. They smacked LSU pretty good a couple of years ago. But if that GA qb can dink and dunk, it may be along night for them.
Irish will score points. Winbush is better than most SEC qbs.

I'm more juiced about Ohio State and Oklahoma for some odd reason.

Auburn is going to expose tf out of Clemson and bring their douchey fans back down to reality.

That's going to be a lot of fun

Thanks for that! It will be a fight, but one we need to win to show we have turned the corner and are ready to enter into discussion of becoming a power, again.
I'll watch it and record it.

That said, I can't help but believe for the majority of football fans, the Auburn/Clemson game will be the marquee game.

Caesar's sportsbook is a lot of fun, too. That's where I usually go whenever I'm out there for a weekend in the fall.

I genuinely hope Georgia beats those guys too. I can't stand Notre Dame. I took the Irish in the pickem though. I have little faith in Georgia's coaching staff.

AU/Clem, GA/ND, Ahia/OU, RKS/TCU...all potentially realy good games.

Don't forget Stanford/USC...would love to see the cardinal red and white wax the USC cardinal and gold...

I'm really hoping the dogs beat the brakes off the Irish.
After playing GT this past week and realizing the shite they have to put up with Every. Damn. Year. from that group has given me a better appreciation of our southern neighbors.

Yeah, I hope GA beats the Irish as well.

So sick and tired of hearing they are back.

But, GA has been unlucky as hell in key games the last 20 years. Hopefully this time they roll.
