Yes

I guess we weren’t excited to see KU lambast Tennessee once again as opposed other opponents. Against missouri it hit about 130 decibels.

Self has less losses at muh library than he does years spent at KU

Ole Miss has a nice one. Probably not the best but definitely up there; resembles the fedex forum but smaller of course.

I didn’t say I saw them play Tennessee, it was actually Missouri.

And that’s because he’s an elite coach, not because your library gets loud.

Auburn has a great arena...but would suck to have to pay such high prices to see a decent game.

Do I really have to explain the concept of supply & demand to you?

Making plans now to go to the Texas place when LSU plays there. It looks pretty fantastic on TV today.

PMAC will get some work and be back.

The KFC Center in Louisville is the nicest arena I have ever been to.

Didn't they copy some of Auburn's blueprint? Baylor just opened their new gym this season and it follows the same concept as Auburn's.

Outside of blue bloods? Hinkle Fieldhouse (Butler) The Pit (New Mexico) The Palestra (Penn) If I go outside of Kentucky in the SEC, I still say Bud Walton is tops. Thompson-Boling is very solid as well.

Good list. Oregon’s Mac Court used to be on this list but they decided to abandon it for the way too large Tat Tolietbowl.

UW’s Hec Ed was great during the Lorenzo Romar era.

AU @ UGA = $40

OM @ AU = $150+

Someone doesn't understand the concept of supply and demand.

Bama is a 15000 seat arena
UGA 10.5

Auburn 9

So yeah if you have a decent team the price will be higher since there isn't many seats. Duh

It is indeed a top of the line facility. I'll give them their due.

YUM center needed some updating when I went in 2019. The entrance is pristine, best I’ve seen. Once you got into the seating area is where it was a bit lacking, imo.

Anyone who hasn't been to Rupp lately.....the entire exterior has been completely remodeled. So have the insides. Inside the arena is the same but everything else is new and state of the art.

Y'all got some catching up with us to do.

Looks uglier than TBA on the exterior.

Part of the hive I see.
Pearl has produced one of, if not the, biggest turnaround in the entire college basketball landscape. Before taking over prior to the 2014-15 season, the Tigers had an average RPI of 191.8. In the past four seasons, the Tigers finished their campaign 16th, 13th, 27th and 11th respectively in the final RPI.
Auburn is the only team in NCAA Tournament history to defeat Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky in consecutive games.
From 2017-20, Auburn was one of only four major programs to win at least 25 games each year, joining Duke, Kansas and Kentucky.
Pearl’s teams have been just as successful off the court as Auburn has had 37 graduates
since 2014 – the most in the SEC.
No one at Auburn claims Blue Blood status. Just a program having fun. Auburn prefers Blue Collar to Blue Blood. Fun turning Blue Bloods to Bed Wetters!

Looking at College Basketball history, it looks to me like there's just 1 "blue blood".
UCLA.
No one comes close to matching their accomplishments.

You can’t afford to build a new arena!

You look at tickets at Auburn away games and it rivals UK

Current get in price for a pair of tickets for Alabama home basketball games:

$74/seat against Auburn
$8/seat against LSU
$6/seat against Mississippi State
$19/seat against Texas A&M
$3/seat against Florida
$35/seat against Tennessee

Bama fans can pay to watch Bruce Pearl and Auburn come to town, or they can pay $1 less and get a ticket to ALL REMAINING GAMES this season. Yes, the Auburn game is selling at a 500% premium.

Obviously one is not like the other. Yes, we’re their Super Bowl, but people also just want to watch Auburn these days. We’re a draw much like Kentucky.

Let’s check out games in Athens, GA:

$4/seat against LSU
$13/seat against Alabama
$20/seat against S Carolina
$18/seat against Florida
$42/seat against Auburn
$16/seat against Texas A&M

How about games in Starkville, MS:

$38/seat against Auburn
$12/seat against Georgia
$25/seat against Arkansas
$19/seat against Ole Miss
$24/seat against Kentucky

Yep, State fans are spending more money on the Auburn game than they are for when Arky and Kentucky are coming to town.
