Who doesn't love being right? He's the one rat that's still on the ship, thus I'm gonna hammer him.

He can deny all he wants, but we all know the truth. He's a believer!!

If I were Kirby I would be knocking down Matt Canadas door trying to bring him in to replace Chaney, the guy has worked wonders with average QBs like Brissett and Peterman

He's off the Lyle train. But supports him as long as he's the coach

Brissett was always pretty talented. He's in the NFL now.

Chaney actually did a good job with Peterman in 2015.

I think continuity is underrated given our youth, so I would be hesitant to make any rash changes.

Good. Recruits hard.

We have significant personnel issues on the OL, especially for how Smart/Chaney want the offense to look.

The only issue I ever had with Chaney was his odd play selection at times, especially in the 2nd half. Chaney is one of the best when it comes to opening drives but just seems to be very weak when it comes to adjusting.

Jones is gone unless he wins the division. He and Brian Kelly are by far the 2 hottest seats in the entire country next year.

So you attribute most of the issues to the previous staff and he just did the best with what he had to work with?

Unfortunately we're stuck with Chaney. I suspect we go 8-4 next year and Kirby is forced to make a change. Color me unimpressed with Pittman. Fans continue to say our OL is not talented but coaching never adapted to their strengths. Pittman is accustomed to road graders but we don't have that size. He has to take some blame for the OL shite show.

I hope I'm eating crow but I don't have any faith in Kirby. Next year could get ugly if Chubb and Michel declare for the draft. Our AD is conditioned for mediocrity

Kirby isn't on next years hot seat but he could be on the 2018 list. Maybe he'll get fired after 3 years ala Ron Zook.

I believe Pittman will be fine considering he should have plenty of talent to work with, I do believe you guys can do much better than Chaney but I understand you didn't have a ton of choices when Kirby picked him.

I think Pittman, Chaney, and Smart underestimated the problem and were slow to adjust the scheme around it, but that's not an issue I'm worried about long term. They'll eventually sink or swim on their own scheme with players that fit better.

I think Pittman is going to be fine, I do believe Smart is going to have to fire Chaney at some point, but I don't see that as a negative because Georgia/Smart could pull someone better.

Freeze possibility.

Smart is going to get more time, Bert ain't going anywhere regardless of record. And UF will win just enough to get slaughtered by bama again in ATL.

I'm curious when Bert's seat is going to get hot. Butch will most definitely be on thin ice, especially with a new AD coming in.

It is already getting there, but the buyout keeps it a little cooler

I think that it is important to realize that UGA's offense was dealing with new coaches at offense coordinator and OL coach for the third straight year. That along with a freshman QB and a new head coach is enough for me to give them a pass for much of what happened this season. I do expect improvement next year. If we see the same stubbornness and confusing play calling happening I'll be concerned.
