I like it. Sick of playing regional OOC games and in-state schools. I know it gives them a nice payout but it's just not exciting for the fans.

You misunderstood. Bama has played Penn State (that was home & home), Michigan and Wisconsin (neutral sites) in recent seasons.
And I really object to copying basketball, do something original for gosh sakes.

As a Georgia fan I say no. We do not need or want more than GT as a forced upon yearly non conference power 5 game.
