We've looked like a November team IMO. Albany is a senior laden squad who's made the NCAA Tournament the last three years (Florida fans could probably tell you some about them from where they played in the NCAA Tournament) so I feel pretty good about how that game went. NJIT isn't a bad squad either for a "cupcake" and the guys got some good experience against a Princeton offense.
We'll know a lot more after tonight about where they stand. And it's Derek Willis. If you don't think he'd be in the rotation at LSU I'm not sure what to tell you. He's a solid player who's sat behind some great players at UK. Poythress is the key though.

Not sure why UK would be concerned about LSU or vice versa. It's not like one will prevent the other from making the tourney or anything.

Ok but even so the two wouldn't meet before the second weekend at the absolute earliest and likely wouldn't meet before Houston. Wouldn't that be the time to start the flame war?

Dude I would LOVE to be wrong, but I just don't see LSU making it to Houston.

Still, you can't win the title in January or February, just establish yourself as a tournament team, and improve your seeding. Even if UK beat LSU both times or vice versa, it's not going to be a huge hinderance or anything. Worst case you drop a couple of spots and both teams look like they will be pretty good so I don't really see it dropping someone all the way down to like a 7 or an 8 seed, which would be the only real reason to get worked up anyway.

I mean I'm just speaking hypothetically. They wouldn't let 2 SEC teams match up in the first two rounds and more likely they would be in different regionals all together.

I'm not reading this whole thread but I know there's only 1 fan base that would engage a basketball argument for 6-7 pages, especially at this time of year

Interestingly enough, there's a whole thread on the Tiger Rant about what Kentucky fans think about LSU this season. So it's not exactly mutually exclusive.
